Samsung’s two new devices today, the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge have been refined and overhauled in the design department to a certain degree. While they still hold a pretty similar overall shape from the previous Galaxy S5, both new phones use a more premium metal and glass material makeup. This results in giving the phone a much more luxurious appeal and as such consumers will likely want to take better care of these devices. While you can always try to be as careful as possible to make sure you don’t damage the device, protecting it with a case is easily a better decision if you want to lessen your chances of physical damage due to an accidental drop.
Speck has announced today that they have just the solution for those looking to protect their devices from physical damage like drops, scuffs and scratches with a series of new cases for both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. Speck has stated that these new cases are soon to be released and will be available to pick up for either phone in the future. They have also released a case for the all new HTC One M9, and are stating that between all of these cases this is the largest collection of cases ever offered during any device launches.
This includes cases from Speck’s popular and award winning flagship series, the candy shell line, as well as some cases from the mighty shell line. There are seven cases in all and they range in price from $34.95 to $59.95. The cases that Speck is releasing include the CandyShell for the Samsung Galaxy S6 which will cost $34.95, the CandyShell + face plate which will cost $44.95, the CandyShell Grip case which will cost $34.95, the CandyShell Inked case for $39.95, and the CandyShell Card case for $39.95. All of these cases will be available for the Samsung Galaxy S6. For the Galaxy S6 Edge and the HTC One M9, Speck is releasing the CandyShell Grip case and the regular CandyShell case respectively. Speck is also launching their MightyShell cases for the Galaxy S6, which they state is a first for an Android phone as they’ve never released these for Android devices so far. The two cases included in this line will be the MightyShell for $49.95 and the MightyShell + face plate for $59.95, both of which are aimed at providing military grade protection from drops. These cases aren’t quite available for purchase yet, but consumers can sign up to be notified when they are available to purchase by hitting this link. Consumers will also be able to purchase these cases from Speck’s website as well as a number of different retailers, which will likely be some carrier retail stores as well as Amazon.
