An emerging company from China called Subor, has a new phone to offer which they claim to be the first ever phone with a bezel-less display. A good way to start off would be by mentioning this smartphone dubbed the Subor S3, is targeting the mid range handset market. The phone itself is nothing majorly impressive on paper, but with claims of a bezel-less display in a smartphone the build quality of a device such as this deserves attention. There have been tests showing bezels acting as a structurally crucial component for strength and integrity. Most importantly, bezels in some cases have aided in prevention of screen shattering on side impacts. With rigid, flat displays the vulnerability is most apparent while a curved, flexible display could possibly give better results.
