Ulefone is one of the many Chinese manufacturers which are trying to leave their mark in the smartphone market. This company is not as well-known as some other Chinese OEMs, nor is it as big, but they’ve been making solid devices thus far. We’ve reviewed the Ulefone Be One quite recently, the company’s really affordable mid-ranger, if you’d like to check it out, click here. The company has also released the ‘Pro’ version of this device, which offers different design and more RAM, amongst some other differences, which is also quite affordable.
This Chinese smartphone OEM has confirmed the recent rumors that they’re working on their 2015 flagship device. The company has contacted us and confirmed that they’re working on a new flagship which will sport 4GB of RAM on the inside. The 64-bit processor will power on this device, and they also plan to release some additional 2 and 3GB models it seems. Asus has already released a device which sports 4GB of RAM in January (a ZenFone 2 variant), and it seems like Ulefone is looking to do the same soon. The company did not provide an estimated time of arrival though, so we have no idea when they plan to release this device, nor how the device will look like. I guess we can expect this thing to sport a rather big display though, considering both the Ulefone Be One and Be Pro feature a 5.5-inch panels on the front. It is to be expected that Ulefone will also use a full HD display this time around, instead of the 720p OGS panel they used in the aforementioned models.
As you can see, there are more and more solid, and yet affordable smartphones coming from China. The Ulefone Be One turned out to be a really solid mid-range device with a price of a low-end model. Would you consider purchasing a smartphone from a not that well-known Chinese company, or did you do that already? Let us know what you think in the comments, we’d love to hear what you guys think.
