Pocket Casts Updated to v5.1
This week, Pocket Casts was updated to version 5.1. The app now features drag-and-drop for reordering podcasts that you listen too. Pocket Casts also is one of the best podcast catchers out there. Starbucks allows Canadians to Tip Now
Starbucks finally brings their tipping feature of their Android app over to Canada. So those in Canada can now go ahead and tip through the app. The update also brings better support for eGift purchase and redemption.
OneDrive hits v3.0
Microsoft updated their OneDrive app for Android this week. Which brings video streaming to the app as well as better photo organization and link sharing. A pretty small changelog, but still a pretty large update for OneDrive.
SwiftKey launches partnership with Dashlane
This week, SwiftKey announced that they will be partnering with Dashlane, so that they can automatically insert your passwords. Which is a pretty cool idea, and a feature I’m sure will be used quite a bit. The beta is due to launch this week, although at the time of writing this, it is not yet available.
Regal Cinemas Shows Updates to Material Design
Regal Cinemas Shows app was just updated to material design, and we all breathe a sigh of relief. You don’t usually see big apps like this getting big UI changes like this, especially to Material design, or holo before that. So it’s definitely welcomed.
Outlook for Android loses the “Preview” Tag
Microsoft decided that the Outlook for Android App had grown up enough to lose it’s preview tag this week. Which means it’s simply just Outlook for Android. They’ve also improved the look and feel of the app, in addition to adding IMAP support, and a better directory. The Outlook app is available now over on Google Play.
