Cricket is AT&T’s nationwide prepaid 4G LTE network covers more than 300 million people with easy and affordable unlimited plans. Their plans include all taxes and fees with no surprises. Cricket boasts more 4G LTE coverage nationwide that T-Mobile, Metro-PCS, Sprint or Boost. They are now offering – with no annual contract – unlimited calls and texts to Canada and Mexico on any plan starting at $50 per month. Cricket is the only national prepaid carrier to give their subscribers unlimited international calling and unlimited text, video and picture messaging from the US to both Canada and Mexico.
There are so many users in the US that have families and friends both north and south of the border and now Cricket will give those users an opportunity to conveniently and cheaply stay in touch. The new Canada calling plan will mirror Cricket’s popular unlimited calling and texting to Mexico. Janna Ducich, chief marketing officer, Cricket Wireless said, “Cricket is focused on giving consumers more of what they want and need. More 4G LTE coverage nationwide than T-Mobile, Metro-PCS, Sprint or Boost. More than 35 million songs from Deezer, the world’s largest streaming music catalog. More ways to pay for your phones thanks to our new Phone Payment Plans. And now, even more international calling options. We want to make it easy for our customers to call almost any number — landline or mobile — in Mexico and Canada — whenever they want and talk for as long as they want.”
Cricket offers two international plans – the Smart Plan at $50 a month and the $60 a month Pro Plan. The $50 a month plan ($45 with auto-pay) gives you 5GB of high-speed data. The $60 a month plan ($55 with auto-pay) increases the high-speed data to 10GB. Both plans also offer International Features to Canada and Mexico with unlimited landline or mobile-to-mobile calling, unlimited text, video and picture messaging, as well as unlimited international texting to 35 countries. Customers who need expanded international coverage, can opt-in for Cricket International Extra add-on for an additional $15 per month. Which entitles you to receive unlimited landline calling and messaging to 35 countries and 1,000 mobile-to-mobile minutes in 29 countries.
If you switch your number from T-Mobile, Metro-PCS, Sprint, Boost and others, Cricket is now offering one month’s free service after completing two months of paid service on either the $50 or $60 plans. They will also offer you a deal on the HTC Desire 510 for only $9.99, now through April 30. Not to mention, they are continually adding new devices like the new Samsung Galaxy S6. Remember that if you sign up for auto-pay, Cricket will knock off $5 each month on the cost of your plan.
