LG has been hyping up their upcoming G4 flagship for quite some time now. The company has already basically confirmed which camera sensors will be included in this device, how will it look from behind and is slowly revealing numerous features of their recently announce LG UX 4.0 software which will be included on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop in the company’s upcoming flagship. Speaking of the software, LG has posted yet another video on their official YouTube accounts and has showcased a couple more UX 4.0 features, let’s check them out.
The first feature the company has decided to showcase is ‘Quick Shot’. This feature lets you to instantly take a picture by double clicking the volume down button on the back of the LG G4. The phone will take a picture even if you double click the button when the phone is locked. ‘Gesture Interval Shot’ is a selfie feature which will let you take 4 selfies at a time, all you have to do is close your fist two times real quick. This is kind of an extension of LG’s ‘Gesture Shot’ which let you take a selfie by closing your hand. The third feature LG talks about in the video is ‘Ringtone ID’. The phone can automatically compose unique ringtones for your contacts, the one you pick of course. The last feature LG is talking about in this short video is ‘Quick Memo+’. This is essentially a note taking application, you can basically browse through some content on your internet browser and when you want to save something from a certain webpage all you have to do is click ‘share’ and launch Quick Memo+ which will then let you save a part of the content you were looking for. This app is basically a beefed up Quick Memo app which is already available on a number of LG’s devices.
