Samsung is no stranger to partnerships so they can bring more variety to their lineup of devices, having partnered up with the likes of Marvel Comics for Avengers-themed Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones, and now they’re partnering up with a well-known pop art icon named Romero Britto to bring a line of pop art-inspired accessories and cases to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge devices as part of the ‘Rich Accessory Collection.’ These new cases are part of the ‘Designed for Samsung’ program, which means they’re specifically commissioned by Samsung to work with their new devices.
Other than these new pop art cases from Romero Britto, consumers will be able to find cases and other accessories from companies like Burton Snowboards, Swarovski, Montblanc, and Rebecca Minkoff, making for a varied set of options for people no matter their tastes or preferences. Britto’s additions to the Rich Accessory Collection will feature a lively and bold color palette designed to inspire happiness and joy in those who adorn their smartphones with them. There isn’t any word on when the cases are expected to launch and be made available for consumers, nor is there any such detail on where Samsung plans to make these accessories available or how much they’ll cost.
From the looks of things it seems like there will be two designs that will be painted on the back of the cases, presumably with both designs being available for either the Galaxy S6 or the Galaxy S6 Edge. With these new cases from Samsung and Romero Britto, users who are passionate about their devices and want to show off that passion with a playful canvas while also protecting their devices will have the options to do so. Romero Britto states his art starts with passion and inspiration. Taking a look at Samsung and what they do in regards to “forward-thinking technology,” Britto was inspired to create his designs for Samsung’s latest and most forward thinking devices yet, which resulted in these two cases. Seeing as how the cases are clear with just a little flash of art on the back, they won’t take too much away from the natural great looking design of the devices and their color.
