The release of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge by Samsung have seen a return to favor for the South Korean tech company. Over the last few months (and best part of the last year in reality), the company was under increasing pressure that they had become somewhat stagnated when it came to their mobile division. In fairness, their reported falling sales and profits were not solely the fault of the perceived stagnation, but instead seemed to be a mixture of what the company was outputting, coupled with the rise of younger and seemingly fresher companies like Xiaomi and Micromax. These companies were hurting Samsung at the lower end of the market, while their flagship devices were what was under criticism for stagnating.
However, that all changed when the company released their newest flagship devices and now Samsung are literally the ‘talk of the town’ again. The reports now suggest the two Galaxy S6 devices are selling fast and generating some impressive numbers and forecasts for the year ahead. This is not too surprising when the actual devices are looked at closely and their specs taken into consideration. In fact, since their launch, Samsung have been releasing a ton of videos to promote what the two Galaxy S6 devices can do. The latest of these came yesterday when the company released a video detailing the charging abilities of the two devices. This video focused heavily on the fast charge and wireless charging capabilities which are included on both devices.
Well, today, Samsung have now released another video and this one seems to be from the same series of promotional videos (the “smartphone of your dreams” series). However, in contrast to yesterday’s offering, today’s one focuses much more on what the cameras of the two latest flagship devices can do. In particular, the video focuses on the f/1.9 lens which comes equipped on both front and rear cameras, as well as Auto Real-time HDR, Tracking Auto Focus, Smart Optical Image Stabilization and the Quick Launch feature of the cameras.
