When playing, the game looks and feels a lot like playing a wordsearch puzzle game but with numbers.
You can rearrange these equations however you want them, but it’s best to stick with those that you’ve already played, rather than pulling them apart. The value of the numbers doesn’t matter too much, it’s just important to match as many of them as you can.
At the end of a level you’ve completed, you’re congratulated on the fact and given a rating out of three stars.
Of course, some of the later levels aren’t as easy, and I find that the levels that give you a time limit are more tricky.
Obviously I’ve just played a little bit of the game, and I’m currently trying to tackle the tougher levels, but after just a while with the game and I can say that I’ve been looking at numbers differently and over time I bet I’ll be much quicker with small sums and sharper when it comes to Math in general. The game gets fairly difficult quite quickly, and over time it can pose a real challenge to even Math Whizzes.
While you might not think that a game based around math equations could be fun, Digit Disorder is a lot of fun, and there’s something to be said of a game that can subtly change how you look at numbers. My Math is pretty decent, it’s nothing compared to my English skills and such, but it’s passable. However, it takes me a little while to get going, after spending some time with Digit Disorder, I already find myself tackling equations much quicker and I really enjoy finding equations nice and quickly. I would like to see some more double-digit numbers earlier on, but the game is designed for players of all ages and it lives up to that quite nicely. As a game, this is good fun, especially if you like puzzle games in general, and if you’re not used to using numbers like this, Digit Disorder will make for a nice change of pace.
