The Google Store Is Now Selling The LG Watch Urbane For $349

LG’s more premium looking smartwatch that was unveiled at MWC 2015, called the LG Watch Urbane, was just unleashed onto consumers through the Google Store for the price of $349.00. Th Google Store is now the new home of all of Google’s devices which were previously located in the “devices” section of Google Play for those who were still not up to speed on its existence. The LG Watch Urbane is LG’s third smartwatch offering, following up the LG G Watch R, and it boasts a more classic look with better materials like higher quality steel and leather for the case and the bands. Those who were waiting for their chance to get their hands on the new smartwatch from LG now have the opportunity to do so.

The Google Store has the watch in both the silver and the gold colors, and both watches cost the same price of $349, although they do both come with different colored straps to better mesh with the colors of the case. The silver model comes with a black leather strap while the gold model is adorned with a brown leather strap to wrap around your wrist. Although the link is now live to place your orders for the LG Watch Urbane, it’s worth noting that Google lists the watches won’t leave the warehouse until May 8th, so you shouldn’t be expecting to receive them on your doorstep by the end of the week if you place your orders now.

The LG Watch Urbane comes equipped with a 1.3-inch P-OLED display with 320 x 320 resolution and 245 PPI for reading those notification cards that pop up, and it carries 512MB of RAM with 4GB of internal memory. The display is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 so it should be more than capable of holding up to a few dings or those inevitable times where your wrist brushes up against the wall or door jam. It’s powered by a 410mAh battery and a 1.2GHz processor, is Bluetooth and WiFi capable, and is IP67 certified for water resistance so a little light rain won’t have to keep you from wearing it outside.
