The bulb works as any other bulb does and provides a more than sufficient area of illumination. As a speaker, again, there were no overwhelming issues noted. Again, this is a speaker and provided a good level of sound production. Now, in fairness, this is a light bulb and therefore, the size of a light bulb. As such, the quality of the sound output is not what you will get from a larger more speaker-oriented Bluetooth product. However, for background music, podcasts, audiobooks and so on, there were absolutely no issues at all with the Olixar Speaker Bulb. In fact, the sound will probably be far better than you will expect from a product like this. The Olixar Speaker Bulb comes with a built-in 3W speaker and amplifier, so as soon as your device is connected you are good to go.
Overall, this was a surprisingly good product when testing. There were no major issues noted with either the quality of the light or audio function of the device. If you are looking for a reasonably priced speaker option for the bathroom, kitchen or bedside table then this is a realistically good option and combines two necessary functions in one product.
