According to reports, LG has released another iteration of its latest flagship device the G4 – which was announced on April 28th – just after it announced the G4 Stylus and G4c. This time they did not make it too public, but LG decided to release dual SIM variants of their newest flagship to select countries. As of right now there is two different types of dual SIM G4 variants. The first variant has the model number H818P, which is the LG G4 Dual SIM, while the second one has the model number H818N, which is the LG G4 Dual SIM (Dual LTE). The LG G4 Dual SIM is heading for Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Ukraine, according to LG’s websites in those countries. The LG G4 Dual SIM (Dual LTE) has been listed on the company’s site for Hong Kong. The rollout to other countries is not currently known at this time. And likely won’t leave Asia.
Even though these seem to be different models, nothing has changed in term of specifications from the original LG G4, except for the extra SIM card slot. In reference, the G4 features a 5.5-inch QuadHD (2560 x 1440) Quantum LCD display, using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor which ships with an Adreno 418 GPU for graphics, 3Gb of RAM, and 32GB of expandable internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB. The G4’s camera is a 16-megapixel OIS (f/1.8 aperture) with a dual LED, dual tone flash and laser autofocus. The G4’s front camera is 8-megapixels. All of this is powered by the removable 3,000 mAh battery. The G4 ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop installed with LG’s UX 4.0 UI installed on top. These models look like they are able to use the multiple stylized backplates, including the new leather ones that LG has announced with the launch of the G4.
Right now you can find the G4 Dual SIM in Saudi Arabia for the retail price of SAR 2,500 ($667/€600). Although, you can find the same model in Thailand for THB 21,900 ($655/€590). The G4 Dual SIM (Dual LTE) can be found in Hong Kong for the retail price of HKD 5,700 ($745/€660). No pricing has been made available for the Ukraine variant at this time.
