LG has announced the company’s highly anticipated G4 flagship handset last month. The LG G4 is a worthy upgrade to its predecessor, it brings forth a number of upgrades, and even the new design choice by LG. This Korea-based smartphone OEM has actually decided to ever so slightly curved the G4 in order to make it more durable and interesting. The company has also introduced a number of different back cover choices for the G4, the handset is available with a leather, ceramic and plastic back cover. The LG G4 still has to roll out to a number of markets worldwide, but we’re not here to talk about that.
This Korea-based smartphone OEM has announced two mid-range handsets a week ago, the LG G4 Stylus and G4c handsets. Anyhow, the latter of the two is now available for pre-order in the UK via Carphone Warehouse, read on. The UK-based retailer has listed the LG G4c on their official webpage, and it seems like the device will land on June 8, at least that’s what the listing says. Three color options will be available from Carphone Warehouse: Metallic Gray, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold. Keep in mind that all three colors will be available online, but if you visit a Carphone Warehouse store you’ll be able to purchase only the Metallic Gray variant of this handset.
The LG G4c features a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS LCD display along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card). This handset is powered by a quad-core SoC clocked at 1.2GHz, and even though we still don’t know which chip LG opted for, we’re quite probably looking at a Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor here. The 8-megapixel camera is available on the back of this handset, and a 5-megapixel snapper can be found up front. Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with LG’s Optimus UX 4.0 which is available on top of Google’s OS. The handset measures 139.7 x 69.8 x 10.2mm and weighs 136 grams.
