Bunny Eggs is an Android game that asks you to free Bunnies from their eggs in a puzzle game fashion, while avoiding harmful obstacles. In Bunny Eggs, you need to avoid things like Bottles and Cups as they will steal your carrots and once you run out of carrots; it’s game over. You can collect carrots as you play though, so there’s always a chance of replenishing your supply of carrots. There are three game modes that determine whether or not you do will based on how many moves you make, how quickly you complete a level and there’s also an endless mode, too. Let’s take a closer look, shall we?
Bunny Eggs is a quick download from the Play Store, and once you have it downloaded, you just need to open it up and choose a menu item from the main menu.
There are choices to make here, “Moves”, “Times” or “Endless” and each one of them refers to the type of gameplay you’ll undertake while playing. I chose to start off with the “moves” style.
There’s little hints like these throughout the game, but gameplay is fairly simple, you just hold in the direction you want to fire, and then let go.
You gain carrots by hitting them, and bunnies will appear out of their eggs, but you must stay away from the bottles and from the cups. Once you lose all your carrots, it’s game over.
When playing in a time-based game, you have a certain amount of time in which to collect all the bunnies.
If you do manage to save all of the bunnies, then you will have completed the level.
You will also come across the evil bunny that will try to steal carrots, along with other obstacles the further you get into the game.
Honestly, I’m not exactly sure where the progression is in Bunny Eggs, there is a number that tells you which level you have completed, but not much changes in these later levels and the game feels fairly basic I hate to say it. You do have to collect more bunnies and avoid more obstacles as the levels get more difficult however. Of course, I can see why kids and younger players will enjoy the game, there are few mechanics to master, and there’s really not much needed to pick up and learn. It’s just good fun. At the expense of being good, easy-to-play fun Bunny Eggs is very basic, and there’s really not much to it. This is a shame, as there is some potential here, but hopefully in future updates, more game modes and trickier gameplay is implemented to make this a more appealing game.

- Speed (4/5) – Bunny Eggs runs nice and speedily, and there are few issues with the game.
- Features (3/5) – Sadly, there’s really not much to the game, it’s fairly basic but at least it is somewhat fun.
- Theme (3/5) – The graphics here are okay, but more backgrounds and animations are needed that’s for sure.
- Overall (3.5/5) – I can see younger players finding a lot to like about Bunny Eggs, but honestly there’s just not much to the game and it feels basic in parts.
Pros
- Works well for younger players and I can see young kids liking this.
- The cute graphics are good fun, and I’m sure kids will like them.
- While basic, the gameplay is easily accessible and great for pick up and play.
- Different game modes give Bunny Eggs some variety.
Cons
- Very little progression from level-to-level.
- Doesn’t offer much besides what you see in the first few levels, feels quite repetitive.
Bunny Eggs is a decent game for those looking for something basic, and in particular I can see this being a fun title for kids to play. It’s got some potential, but over time the game will need updating with more features and more comprehensive graphics. Hopefully, those updates aren’t too far away, either.
