Xiaomi Mi Note Pro Gets Disassembled, Take A Look Inside

Xiaomi has announced a ton of devices this year, and the company’s Mi Note and Mi Note Pro devices are amongst the most interesting ones. The Mi Note has been available for purchase for months in China, and the more powerful Mi Note Pro is available for purchase starting today. The company has announced both of this handset back in January, so it took them quite some time to offer the Mi Note Pro to their consumers, but the device is now finally available. Speaking of which, this handset has already been disassembled in China, let’s see what lays inside.

We’ll talk more about the specs of the Mi Note Pro later on, before we do that, let’s talk about its build and the teardown. The Mi Note Pro, much like the Mi Note, sports premium build. The two devices actually look identical, the only thing that differs them from the outside is the gold trim around the Mi Note Pro. The Mi Note Pro is a rather big device, it can be considered a phablet thanks to the 5.7-inch display which lays on the front. There are capacitive buttons available below the display: menu, home and back, respectively. Anyhow, the igao7.com portal has disassembled the Mi Note Pro, and you can check out the results in the gallery down below. The device wasn’t that hard to disassemble it seems, which is actually a good thing in case you need to repair it. There are quite a few images in the gallery, which will give you a good look at the phone’s internals.

The Mi Note Pro sports a 5.7-inch QuadHD (2560 x 1440) IPS LCD display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of non-expandable internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core SoC powers the Mi Note Pro along with an Adreno 430 GPU which is in charge of graphics rendering. The 13-megapixel OIS camera is located on the back of Xiaomi’s flagship, and next to it you’ll find a dual-LED, dual tone flash. The 4-megapixel (2µm pixel size) camera is available on the front side of this handset, and on the inside of the device you’ll also find a non-removable 3,000mAh battery. This handset ships with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop pre-installed with Xiaomi’s MIUI OS on top of it. 4G LTE connectivity and two SIM slots are also a part of this package.
