Slack introduced version 2.0 of their Android app this past week, which has a completely new material design interface. Slack is a great productivity app for teams, and having a great mobile app is definitely important. Which Slack aimed to make their mobile app much better in their 2.0 update.
Nokia HERE Maps Updated with “Millions” of Changes
Nokia updated their popular HERE Maps this week, and touted that there were “millions” of changes in this update.
“As always, there are literally millions of changes and improvements across the globe, in every corner of every country, which are too numerous and too specific to list separately. Hit the menu and go to ‘Download maps’ to get the most accurate, freshest maps, wherever you’re located.”
Todoist Now Integrates with Evernote, Github and More!
This week, following Google I/O, the popular ToDo app, Todoist announced a pretty big feature, which included integration with Evernote, Github, and Google Calendar. So you can be a bit more productive. The company is also working on a material design update which is currently in beta, and we’re hoping it’ll be available in the stable channel pretty soon!
Facebook Messenger Now Lets you send location as a message
This is something that Google Hangouts has had for a bit, but now Facebook Messenger has it. You can now send your location as a message through the app. So if someone asks you where you are, you can show them exactly where you are. It’s a pretty unique feature, and it works really well for messenger apps like Facebook Messenger.
Imgur for Android Gets Updated
Many of you that use Reddit probably use Imgur pretty often as well. This past week, the company announced and unveiled a brand new version of their app. And it is material design. It works pretty darn good, with plenty of sexy transitions. You can pick it up from the Google Play Store now.
