Doogee is definitely one of the more popular OEMs out there, but this China-based company has been working hard in order to change that. Doogee has released quite a few devices this year, and they plan to release a ton more before the end of the year. The Doogee F3 if the company’s upcoming flagship, and it will arrive in three different variants, the 2, 3 and 4GB of RAM models will be released before the end of the year, and the 2GB variant will arrive in August, other will follow soon after. The company is also working on quite a few mid-rangers, including the Doogee X1 which won’t feature any bezel on its sides.
That being said, our source at the company sent us some additional info touting the arrival of yet another Doogee-branded handset. The Doogee F2015 (we still don’t know if that’s what they’ll call it in the end) is a sleek-looking handset which will sport more than solid specifications. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll see a phone made out of metal which offers really nice design. Now, by the looks of it, this device sports really narrow bezels, and according to the source, its bezels will be only 1mm thick. Unfortunately, the screen is not turned on, so we can’t really see how thick the bezels on the top and bottom are, but the phone sure looks interesting.
According to the available info, this device will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved display along with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. The phone will be fueled by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz along with a Mali-T760 GPU for graphics. 3GB of RAM and a 3,000mAh battery will also be a part of this package, same goes for 16GB of expandable internal storage. The 13-megapixel camera (Samsung’s or Sony’s sensor) will be located on the back of this thing, and an 8-megapixel shooter (OmniVision’s sensor) will be available up front.
This handset will also offer a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, as you can see in the image down below, and the dual-LED flash will also be available on its back. The source also said that the device’s screen-to-body ratio will be 79%, which means that the bezels on the top and bottom won’t be too thin. Either way, it’s going to be interesting to see this device in action. The Doogee F2015 will arrive in Silver and Grey color options, and it will launch in September, though we still don’t know how much will it cost.
