If you run a small to medium business and you rely partially on Facebook to reach potential consumers, Facebook has a new tool to help you expedite the process of managing the ads that you may place on the social network. The app is called Facebook Ads Manager, and as the name suggests it lets those who create and distribute Facebook ads manage things from their phone so they can be mobile as well as productive. The app recently just dropped into the Play Store and can be installed on just about any Android device so long as it’s running on Android version 4.1 and up, which is nearly every device running Android at this point so compatibility shouldn’t be an issue.
The app provides a small suite of tools for business owners, including things like analytics tools to see how many clicks a particular ad receives as well as the capability to observe how many people each ad is reaching. Should any ads not be hitting a specific target amount of people, businesses can then alter or tweak their ad campaigns by adjusting their target audience, whether that be widening the group of people which they aim their ads at or by refocusing the group entirely.
Facebook Ads Manager also lets users edit other parts of the ads by changing things like images, so if you feel the initial image used for your ad isn’t doing well enough to reach those who may be stimulated more visually, you can swap it out for a more attention-grabbing image to get the job done. You can also edit text in case you need to fix any typing mistakes, as well as tweak the ad budget and the schedule for the ads. Managing ads on the go isn’t just limited to editing ads which have already been created, Facebook has also baked in the capability to create brand new ads from the app as well. This includes the option to add in photos from your phone for use with the ad, and the ability to save ad creations into a drafts folder should there be a need to come back to things at any point if interrupted.
