Still looking for some new games to test this week? If so, you’re in luck. Games tend to launch quite often on Android so it can be difficult sometimes to sift through the muck and grab some great games. Check out this list and see what might have you glued to your device for hours on end with all those lovely beeps and boops that really only games can offer.
Anodia 2
This is an arcade title, and a sequel to the original, tasking you with breaking bricks and other objects level by level. It’s very similar to brick breaker that many of us have undoubtedly played on Blackberries, so if you enjoyed that style of game this has all of that and more.
Doom 3: BFG Edition
This may only be compatible with the NVIDIA SHIELD tablet and the NVIDIA SHIELD console, but the fact remains that it’s a damn good first person shooter with plenty of action and eye candy to match. If you own one of these two supported devices, this is a must have game to play on them.
Drift Spirits
If you love Drift racing, Drift Spirits puts you in the driver’s seat of a wide number of cars with the ability to drift down the mountain or through city streets in single player mode or head to head against friends or other opponents. There’s lots of popular cars, vehicle modes and part upgrades, and plenty of bragging rights if you can grab the best score and finish first.
LEGO Ninjago Tournament
What could be better than a ninja themed LEGO game. Not much, that’s what. Train your ninja skills to best opponents in multiple arena battles, unlock special characters and utilize awesome attacks. This is an action/adventure type game, so definitely give it a look if you like fast paced combat with a light-hearted feel.
Portal 2 Pinball
Not much really needs to be said here. This is the latest pinball table that’s part of Zen Studios popular line of themed pinball games, featuring the smash hit PC title from Valve, Portal 2.
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
A port of a classic RPG masterpiece and a beloved favorite of many who enjoy the RPG genre, Final Fantasy Tactics finally makes it to Android. This full-scale tactical RPG features so many hours of gameplay with an engrossing story that you may have little time for anything else.
Alpha Squadron 2
Everyone could use a little dog fighting now and again, and there’s no better place to engage in heated battles with ships than in space. Alpha Squadron 2 is a first person arcade space shooter with plenty of intense action, huge bosses during the campaign, and a non-linear play style with a decent amount of space exploration involved.
You Must Build A Boat
If you like puzzles and boats, and were a fan of the title 10000000, then this is your next stop in gaming exploration. Through a series of puzzles and matching you can gain the skills and equipment/materials needed to build your boat up to epic proportions while traveling the world.
Hitman: Sniper
If you like sniper titles, this is sure to grab your attention. It has quite a few missions to keep you entertained with plenty of tasks to complete, and loads of different sniper rifles which you can obtain by killing certain people who drop the required pieces to build a particular weapon.
Chaos Ring III
Not technically a game launched in June as it actually released May 29th, but it was close enough to the beginning of June that it fits right in with the rest of the games as it was launched too late to include in our list for May. This is full-scale RPG with tons of hours of gameplay and the third installment in the popular Chaos Rings series from Square Enix. Follow the epic story and enjoy wonderful storytelling and an awesome soundtrack. This is a JRPG style game, so combat is turn-based, but easy to learn. It’s a bit spendy, but well worth it if you like RPG titles.
