Mlais MX Base Packs In A 4,800mAh Battery, Costs $139.99

Mlais is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer which has released a couple of devices lately, Mlais M7 and Mlais MX (Base) are the latest offerings by the company. The company has announced the Mlais MX back in April, and has managed to somewhat confuse consumers when they renamed it to MX Base for some reason. Well, the company has reached out to us in order to clear the air and point out why the name change occurred, read on.

As some of you might know by now, the Mlais MX (Base) sports a huge 4,800mAh battery on the inside, and the plain ‘Mlais MX’ naming scheme didn’t seem viable for the company, so they decided to change it. This handset can hold a charge for quite some time, and the ‘Base’ naming is kind of symbolic it seems, as in your mobile backup or ‘base’. Anyhow, other than the sizeable battery unit on the inside, Mlais MX Base also features really solid mid-range specifications.

The Mlais MX Base features a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) fully laminated IPS display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card up to 64GB). MediaTek’s MT6735 64-bit quad-core processor running at 1.3GHz is powering this handset, and the device also ships with two SIM card slots (micro + mini SIM) and offer 4G LTE connectivity, FDD-LTE: B1/3/7/20 (800/1800/2100/2600). The 13-megapixel camera is located on the back of this thing (+LED flash), and an 8-megapixel shooter cab be found on its front side. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this handset, with some additions from Mlais, of course. The phone measures 145.8 x 71.5 x 9.9mm, and is available in Black, Blue and White color options.

The Mlais MX Base is a solid mid-range offering by the company, and is actually already available for pre-order from a range of Mlais partners. This company, like many other Chinese OEMs, is selling their devices via a number of retailers which ship out devices all over the world. You can pre-order a copy for $139.99 from a number of Chinese retailers, just follow the source link down below if you’re interested.
