Motorola Moto X (2nd-gen) was, and still is a very capable device. The company offers a number of customization options in select markets via ‘Moto Maker’, and even without it, this handset offers solid specs and great build quality, not to mention that its software is almost stock. That being said, it’s almost time for Motorola to announced the 3rd-gen Moto X device. The last edition was launched back in September 2014, and considering that its specs are somewhat dated at this point, many Moto X fans are eagerly waiting for the company to announce the next Moto X handset.
We’ve already seen quite a few Moto X (3rd-gen) leaks, the alleged phone leaked about a week ago, and a couple more followed. One of those leaks even hinted that the phone will feature a fingerprint scanner, but today’s info doesn’t exactly agree with that. Two new images leaked today, showing the inside of the alleged Moto X handset. According to the source, the fingerprint scanner won’t be a part of this handset. The Moto X’s frame is also pictured down below, in case you’d like to check it out. That being said, it seems like the Moto X (2015) will feature wireless charging, which was to be expected though.
This leak doesn’t exactly share any spec information or anything of the sort, but we did get a couple of images of the phone, even though we don’t get to see the finished product. The lack of a fingerprint scanner might bother some of you, presuming this information is accurate of course. What can you expect of Moto X (2015)? Well, according to rumors, this handset will once again sport a metal build (at least partial). The rumors are also saying that they might even be two versions of this device, one sporting the 5.2-inch display, and the other one a 5.6-inch panel. The QuadHD (2560 x 1440) display has also been mentioned, as well as 3GB of RAM. That’s pretty much all the info we have thus far, though you can also expect the phone to be powered by one of Qualcomm’s SoCs. Stay tuned, we’ll report back as soon as new info surfaces.
