ZTE has announced a number of very interesting handset this year. The Nubia Z9 line of devices is very impressive, especially the Nubia Z9 and Z9 Max, which are also the company’s premium offerings. The Nubia Z9 is ZTE’s current flagship, and it not only sports a metal build and some really interesting features, but it doesn’t have any bezel on the sides, aside from the frame, of course. All of these devices were announced in the last couple of months, and ZTE is expected to announce a couple more handsets before the end of the year.
We’ve seen a number of leaks and report thus far, the ZTE Star 3, Nubia X8 and Axon were all mentioned quite recently. The ZTE Star 3 and Axon are said to sport dual cameras on the back, and the Nubia X8 will reportedly be yet another premium offering by the company. Speaking of which, a new leak surfaced in China showing off an unknown Nubia-branded devices. If you take a look at the image down below, which is quite probably blurred on purpose, you’ll notice the Nubia branding and the general shape of this handset. This is definitely not any of the devices from the Nubia Z9 line, despite the fact it resembles them a whole lot. The LED flash positioning actually gives it away because it is located on the left side of the Nubia Z9 devices, and in this case it’s placed below the camera sensor. Judging by the provided image, this device will feature some bezel on the sides, and it seems like it will be made out of metal.
There you have it folks, yet another ZTE-related leak. Now, the question is, which device are we looking at here? I believe we can rule out ZTE Star and Axon considering this thing sports only 1 rear-facing camera sensor, but how about Nubia X8? Well, is possible, though the Nubia X8 was said to sport no bezel on the sides. Either way, we’ll find out soon, stay tuned for more info, if anything else pops up we’ll make sure to let you know.
