Huawei is one of those companies that has released quite a few devices in the last couple of months. This Chinese smartphone OEM has announced three ‘P8’ devices, along with 2 mid-range tablets and a mid-range Honor smartphone. The Huawei P8 is company’s newest flagship smartphone, and a huge 6.8-inch P8Max is Huawei’s new flagship phablet. That being said, we’ve been seeing quite a few leaks regarding the Huawei-branded Honor 7 smartphone which is supposed to arrive quite soon actually, read on.
A couple of days ago, Huawei has teased the arrival of Honor 7 in China, and at the time, it looked like the phone will launch on June 24th. Well, it seems that won’t be the case after all, unless they plan to announce the standard and high-end variant of the device on two separate dates. Anyhow, the company has now posted yet another image on their official Weibo (Chinese social media site) account, and clearly revealed that the phone will arrive on June 30. The device will be announced in Beijing, and we do have quite a lot of info when it comes to this device considering it has already been certified in China.
According to the previous info, the Huawei Honor 7 will sport a 5-inch 108op (1920 x 1080) display along with 3 or 4GB of RAM (two variants) and 16 or 64GB of internal storage. The 3GB variant of the phone will ship with 16GB of in-built storage, and the higher-end, 4GB variant, with 64GB of internal storage. Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 935 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel this handset, and a 3,280mAh battery will also be a part of this package. Android Lollipop will come pre-installed on this handset, and Huawei’s Emotion UI skin will quite probably be installed on top of it. Latest rumors have been claiming that this handset might arrive with Huawei’s new Android-based OS (something similar to Cyanogen OS and Oxygen OS), but we’re still not sure.
According to some leaked info, the standard variant of Honor 7 might cost 1,999 Yuan ($322), and the higher-end model will be priced at 2,699 Yuan ($435). Also, the standard variant is said to be available this month, and the higher-end model will be released in July. We still can’t confirm any of this, but the rumors seem rather accurate. Either way, we’ll let you know if anything new pops up.
