Top New Android Games – June Edition

During E3 which is one of the biggest video game conferences during the year, a fair bit of video game related news spills out over the internet. Not all of it relates to mobile and what does is usually about upcoming games rather than ones just now launching, but that doesn’t mean there are no new games to highlight for play this weekend. Let’s take a look at some games which just launched this week.

Cartel Kings

Cartel Kings is an action title, but if you want to get a little more specific it fits right in with the description of being a 3rd person shooting gallery type game. You take on the role of a cartel boss and venture around the city in search of rewards, cash, guns and trouble, and if you’re lucky enough you’ll find them all. You can join up and play with your friends for a little bit of multiplayer gaming by creating or joining cartels as well. Wouldn’t you know it, there’s also support for leaderboards and achievements.

Blamburger – Clarence

This one is a bit weird, but then again so is pretty much any game that comes from Cartoon Network. The idea is simple here. Build the ultimate burger as the ingredients fall from the top of the screen, all while trying to avoid the stuff you don’t want on it, like spicy, hot peppers, and dynamite. There’s an opportunity to gain score bonuses, and the things get rather challenging the longer you last as ingredients begin to fall faster and faster, making things harder to dodge.

RESCUE: Heroes In Action

RESCUE is all about completing missions where you have to save individuals from the dangers of burning hot fires because that’s your job. You play as a firefighter and you aim to save every last person. You can choose from a varied set of heroes, and as you unlock and complete new missions you’ll be able to customize your fire truck. Things may seem easy at first, but there is a bit of strategy to be employed here at times, so things may get challenging.

FireWhip

It might not look like much from the screenshot, but FireWhip is actually a pretty fun game. The goal is to drag your finger around the screen to manipulate the whip made of fire and thwart your approaching enemies. It’s a little simpler than one might expect, but it quickly becomes addicting.

Heroes and Castles 2

Heroes and Castles 2 takes a few different game genres and blends them all together. There’s a little bit of castle defense, a tad bit of strategy, and some action/rpg here and there. It comes along with some pretty impressive visuals, and you can build and upgrade your very own castle, as you play through an action packed campaign mode which has 30 total waves you’ll need to survive through. You can also choose from 9 different classes and three different races.
