Lenovo is one of the biggest smartphone manufacturers in the world, and also one of the largest tech companies on the globe. That being said, Lenovo and Qihoo 360 (both Chinese companies) have invested in a new project, a company called ‘ZUK’. This company is lead by Lenovo’s former VP, Chang Cheng, and will manufacture Cyanogen OS-powered devices. We’ve already talked about this company recently, and have even shared some of the leaked specs of their upcoming ZUK Z1 handset.
Speaking of ZUK Z1, another leak popped up in China sharing some images that were allegedly taken with this device. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll find 7 sample images. According to the recent leak, the phone will feature a 13-megapixel main camera, so we can at least assume that these shots were taken with that sensor. The images are alright, they’re rather clear, but we’ve seen significantly better shots in the past. This handset will be rather affordable, and based on the leaked specs, it won’t exactly offer the best camera around, but it seems like it will be capable of snapping some decent images.
The ZUK Z1 will reportedly sport a 5.5-inch 108op (1920 x 1080) display, 3GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of internal storage (depending on the version you choose). The 13-megapixel snapper will be available on the back of this device, and a 5-megapixel shooter will be located on the front side of this device. This will be a dual-SIM smartphone which will offer 4G LTE connectivity, and will allegedly ship with a big battery on the inside. The fingerprint scanner has also been mentioned, and it remains to be seen if ZUK intends to implement it up front, or will it be located on the back of this handset.
There you have it folks, more and more ZUK Z1 details surface each day, and we’ll let you know as soon as we find out more. We still don’t know when will this device see the light of day or anything like that, but based on the amount of incoming leaks, that might happen soon.
