AH Poll: Would You Rather Buy A Moto X 2015 or The OnePlus 2?

Motorola announced the new Moto X 2015 this morning just a day after OnePlus unveiled their new device: the OnePlus 2, and both devices aim to offer the consumer a collection of high-end specifications for relatively little cost compared to other high-end flagship smartphones. Both the new Moto X and the OnePlus 2 will have metal frames, and while only the Moto X 2015 will be customizable via Moto Maker with various different color and style options to fine-tune the look of the device, the OnePlus 2 will have a series of Styleswap covers for the back of the phone which allow a little more personalization than the standard Sandstone Black that it comes with. Both devices are targeting the same group of users, which are those who want a top-end phone without having to pay an arm and a leg to get one. Both also have a couple of key differences in which may be more suited to a particular individual. The Moto X Style comes with NFC so it’ll be capable of using Android Pay, but the OnePlus 2 comes with a fingerprint sensor so it has that added layer of security. However, it has nor NFC so Android Pay won’t be compatible.

At this juncture if you’re a consumer weighing out your options, you’ll likely be asking yourself which aspects are more important to you. Do you want a device with a little more customization, NFC fo mobile payments and Motorola’s popular features like Moto Assist, or do you want a device with a little more of a sleek design, a fingerprint sensor for a tad cheaper price? So, our question becomes which device would you rather buy? The Moto X 2015 or the OnePlus 2?
