With Motorola and OnePlus both having launch events this week, and Samsung having their Unpacked event coming up on August 13th, the smartphone world is poised to have a few new top-tier flagship devices to choose from. Both the Moto X Pure Edition/Style were announced this week and although not yet available, they will be in the near future. OnePlus also finally unveiled the OnePlus 2 which starts to ship to customers who have an invite to purchase the device next month.
Although not yet confirmed, Samsung is expected to announce the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ at their event in a couple of weeks. If they announce both devices, that’ll leave consumers with some tough decisions if they’re looking to upgrade. Do you go for the “2016 Flagship Killer.” Motorola’s latest and greatest, or the Galaxy Note 5 or the Galaxy S6 Edge+? All four devices are sure to give a great experience, but all four will also be slightly different and have their own niche. The Moto X Pure Edition will have Motorola’s award-winning popular software features like Moto Assist, while the OnePlus 2 will have a sleek design, a large amount of storage, and a fingerprint sensor, with both devices coming in at under $400. Samsung’s two upcoming devices on the other hand, will be packed full of stuff from the fingerprint sensor with Samsung Pay support, to top-class cameras and a sleek glass and metal finish. The Galaxy Note 5 will also have the new and improved S-pen for taking notes and all sorts of other things. With four great devices on the way, which one are you planning on buying?
