Boost Mobile offers many plans and prepaid devices of all sorts from the high-end Samsung Galaxy S6 and Apple’s iPhone 6 to mid-range to entry-level devices. Truth be told, most users on prepaid carriers are generally looking for a bargain and tend to look at the low-mid range devices. Enter ZTE, a Chinese electronic conglomerate that would love to be a major player in the US market, but has found it tough going on the major carriers, but the prepaid carriers are welcoming them with open arms. Boost Mobile, uses Sprint’s nationwide network and offers unlimited monthly plans with no long-term commitments with plans starting as low as $35 per month. They already have three ZTE devices for sale and have just announced that the new ZTE Boost Max+ for $199.99.
The new ZTE Boost Max+ smartphone applies a few upgrades to the Boost Max – larger display, larger battery and an upgrade in the processor department provides the new Boost Max+ with all the power you should ever need. You will enjoy HD voice quality over Boost Mobile’s 3G and 4G LTE network as the ZTE Boost Max+’s dual-mode switches seamlessly between Sprint’s 3G and their 4G LTE network. The Boost Max+ is running the newest Android 5.1 Lollipop and all of its improved features. It is packed with many features for a device that only costs less than $200.
The ZTE Boost Max+ is sporting a 5.7-inch IPS LCD HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It uses the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory with a microSD card slot to expand that memory up to 64GB…the card is not included. For the main camera, ZTE choose an 8MP sensor with autofocus, LED flash and includes a dedicated camera button, burst mode and panoramic option. The front-facing camera is rather small at only 1MP, so social media selfies are about all you can use it for – it will make for a poor video chat. Dolby Digital Plus virtual surround sound is included and should make watching videos or movies a more pleasant sounding experience. It does come with a rather large 3400mAh non-removable to easily get you through an entire day.
