Google have been really branching out of late with a number of products that are seemingly proving popular. Of course, most recently was the Nexus Player which brought Android TV to its users in a limited but proof-of-concept device. That said, one of the most popular Google products of late has been their small streaming device, the Chromecast. Since the little dongle became available, it has proved to be extremely successful over the last year or two and constantly sells in the bucket loads. Besides the included connector for the dongle, the only additional feature on the adapter is the inclusion of the Ethernet socket which will be what connects directly to your router.
As such, for those who worry or experience some playback issues or spotty connections with their Chromecast, this might be the perfect option to offer a more fluid level of playback and connectivity. This might seem a lot compared to the price of the overall Chromecast, which is crazy cheap for what it does.
