Doogee F3 Details Revealed; Available For Pre-Order Soon

Doogee is a rather interesting company. This Chinese smartphone OEM has announced a number of intriguing devices this year, but their upcoming Doogee F3 flagship is definitely the most interesting one to the vast majority of consumers. Before we get into it, it is worth mentioning that this Chinese smartphone OEM is also working on the mysterious Doogee F2015 handset which will be made out of liquid metal, and that the company will soon release the Doogee X1 entry-level device which sports basically no bezel on the sides. That being said, let’s get into it.

It was earlier confirmed that the Doogee F3 will launch in 2, 3 and 4GB of RAM models, and that the 4GB variant will be a Limited Edition model of this smartphone. Well, the company has just shared some additional Doogee F3 details with us. First and foremost, let’s talk about this device’s camera. The Doogee F3 will sport a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera manufactured by Samsung. We’re looking at Samsung’s 3M2 ISOCELL CMOS sensor, and PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) will be included here. This device will sport LG’s display with a 2.5D curved glass on top of it, and the device’s side bezels will be only 1mm thick.

The Doogee F3 and F3 Pro were mentioned by the company, the Doogee F3 will sport a 5-inch 1080 x 720 display, which seems like a strange resolution for a smartphone display, but that’s what the image below this article is saying. The Doogee F3 Pro, on the other hand, will feature a 5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display. Thie device’s shell will be made out of metal, it will be cut by CNC machines, and the device will sport curved edges. The non-limited variant of Doogee F3 will ship in three variants according to the company. The first variant will sport glass cover, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The second variant of the device will feature a glass cover, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of in-built storage. Most interestingly, Doogee will also offer this device in ‘wood’ editions with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. These devices will sport a wood back covers, and bamboo will definitely be one of the offered back covers.

Doogee’s new flagship will offer all sorts of ‘Smart Voice Controls’, as the company calls them. The phone will ship with: Voice Wake-Up, Voiceprint Password, Music Voice Control and Magic Instruction features. You’ll be able to wake up your phone by using the name of the voice assistant pre-installed on the device (similar to Google Now it seems). The rest of these features are also voice command-related, and let you unlock your device with your voice, or set up various instructions.

There you have it folks, this is the Doogee F3. The device will be available for pre-order internationally starting July 23rd, which means it might be available for purchase at the end of July or beginning of August. Either way, stay tuned for more info.
