HTC’s One M9 flagship looked quite premium with the design that HTC dreamed up, carrying over the sleek metal body and smooth finish from the previous devices with subtle refinements to fine tune the design to HTC’s standards. If the standard metal and gold colored trim wasn’t enough of a premium look for you though, perhaps an actual gold HTC One M9 will fit the bill. Gold Genie, a company who specializes in giving phones and other electronics a luxury treatment finish to really give them shine, just announced they’re now offering a 24-karat gold plated HTC One M9 for those that can not only afford it, but want something a little less common.
Before anyone wonders, this is the same as any other HTC One M9 in terms of actual hardware specifications. The only difference is that it features a luxury plating on the outside of the phone, and of course it does come with some nice little extras. If that’s enough for you then you may want to give these phones a look. The phones are accompanied by a lifetime warranty so should anything go wrong with the plating you can have it fixed. You can also have your already existing HTC One M9 to get the plating treatment applied to it instead of buying a new one. Each phone comes in a cherry oak finished box instead of your standard smartphone packaging, and alongside the wall adapter/USB cable to charge the phone, it also comes with a set of earbuds and mic for music and taking calls which doesn’t normally come with the HTC One M9 when you buy the regular model. Last but not least, these luxury HTC One M9’s also come with Gold Genie’s Total Armour Protection installed, and probably unsurprising is that they come factory unlocked and ready to work with most networks worldwide. They don’t come with a SIM card though, you’ll have to provide that yourself.
