LG G4 Shoots new Drone Video, OIS Less than Stellar

When LG announced the G4 back in April, they kicked off the press announcement with a video that was entirely recorded on the LG G4, and was flying around using a drone. Well LG has decided to do that once again. This time a bit different scenery, but the footage still looks pretty amazing. However, for those that are sticklers, you’ll notice that the OIS wasn’t perfect. But for the untrained eye, you probably didn’t even notice it.

This flyover was done to promote their #BestShotEver campaign which runs through July. We reported on this contest earlier this week. Where users can submit some mindblowing photos on Instagram using that hashtag and tagging @LGUSAMOBILE for a chance to win a LG G4, with the grand prize being an all-expense paid trip to New York City and a helicoptor tour around the big apple. It’s a pretty cool contest, and if you search that hashtag on Instagram, you’ll see there is some pretty stiff competition for this contest.

Ever since LG announced the LG G4, they have been touting the camera as one of the best around, and we can’t blame them. It really is one of the best, if not the best. With the LG G2, the camera was a bit underrated, the LG G3 brought in a slightly higher megapixel count and laser auto-focus, this year they added in f/1.8 which makes for some pretty amazing pictures. Along with the color spectrum sensor on the back. It brings you great pictures in low light, and more nature colors than the competition can bring you, normally.

We reviewed the LG G4 back in May, and were really impressed with the device. And LG is still doing promotions for the LG G4 through-out July. Where you can get a leather back along with an extra battery and charging cradle for that battery, when you purchase an LG G4, which is actually a pretty amazing deal. Especially when you consider that the LG G4 is one of the cheaper flagships, and the only one with a removable battery and microSD card slot.
