More Galaxy Note 5 Case Leaks Hint at Auto-Eject S-Pen

It appears as though the rumored earlier launch of the Galaxy Note 5 is go to ahead after all. We recently saw what could be versions of Samsung’s latest go through the FCC for AT&T and Verizon, and we’ve seen a whole bunch of case renders. The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus meanwhile, hasn’t been seen in leaked renders or case renders, and the last piece of evidence that we saw was the same FCC filing with devices for AT&T and Verizon listed there as well. The chances of Samsung trying to rekindle the Galaxy S6 Edge’s buzz with a larger device are fairly high, and it certainly seems like something Samsung would do.

Back to the Galaxy Note 5 and while we have already seen case renders of the device quite recently, there’s even more on the way now. This time around, we’re looking at clear case renders from Ringke, and as Sammobile have spotted, it looks as though the Galaxy Note 5 could feature an auto-ejecting S-Pen. Or at least, that’s what a case render with a completely flush S-Pen would suggest to us. Some sort of push-to-eject mechanism, similar to that used in microSD card slots would seem the most likely. Of course, these are just yet more case renders, and despite the fact that Samsung’s Galaxy S and Galaxy Note devices share common DNA, these look a little too similar. Which is a roundabout way of saying that these are just case renders based off of pre-release material and there’s every possibility that these designs aren’t close to the final design.

It appears as though Samsung is gearing up for an earlier-than-expected launch of the Galaxy Note 5, if the recent FCC filings and leaked case renders are anything to go by at least. You can take a closer look at the renders below, and these are already being listed on Amazon. However, that’s more an indication of how powerful Samsung has become in the mobile space, as accessory vendors need to be ready for Samsung’s next and most appealing product.
