OnePlus 2 Listed On OppoMart, 5.7" QHD Display In Tow

OnePlus One was one of the best devices in 2014, and its successor, the OnePlus 2, is one of the most anticipated devices of this year. OnePlus has already confirmed that they’ll announced the OnePlus 2 on July 27, and the company has also confirmed various aspects of this device. According to OnePlus’ teasers, their second-gen flagship will be fueled by the Snapdragon 810 (v2.1) 64-bit octa-core SoC by Qualcomm, and the device won’t cost more than $450. The company has also confirmed that the phone will sport a Type-C USB 3.0 port, and dual-SIM connectivity will also be a part of this package.

That being said, a OnePlus 2 listing popped up on OppoMart and seemingly revealing the specs of the upcoming OnePlus flagship. According to the listing, the OnePlus 2 will sport a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display with a 571 PPI. The Snapdragon 810 is also listed, though the company has already confirmed that part. The 16-megapixel camera (Sony’s IMX234 sensor) will reportedly going to be OnePlus 2’s main shooter, and a 3,300mAh battery will also be a part of this package. The 4G LTE connectivity (FDD-LTE) is also listed here, and the phone will sport 3GB of RAM according to OppoMart’s listing. The OnePlus 2 will most likely offer 4GB of RAM though considering OnePlus’ teaser said that we can expect a jump in RAM count in the OnePlus 2. The 5-megapixel snapper will be available up front, and Android Lollipop will come pre-installed here with OnePlus’ OxygenOS installed on top of it.

This listing seemingly reveals the OnePlus 2’s alleged specs, but there are quite a few inconsistencies here. We’ve already mentioned one of those, the RAM count, and it also seems that the OnePlus 2 will sport a 13-megapixel shooter, not the 16-megapixel one. The camera samples which surfaced a couple of days ago, courtesy of MKBHD, have been shot with a 13-megapixel sensor (f/2.0 aperture), not a 16-megapixel one. We also expect OnePlus to announce more than one variant of their upcoming flagship, one that will sport 64GB of RAM, and the other one perhaps 16 or 32GB. There you have it, this listing doesn’t seem to be all that accurate in some areas, so take this info with a grain of salt and wait for the official announcement which is coming soon.
