The Phantom Sound Center is miles ahead of most of its competitors such as the Jambox, even if at their core they all have the same basic functionality as a speaker.
The Phantom Sound Center differentiates itself from other more accessible Bluetooth speakers by its incredibly powerful and clear sound quality. Even if the newly released speaker is not portable per se, users can connect up to 24 units via WiFi to increase the sound’s range to more rooms or to create an amazing stereo/cinema set-up. But even if the 12KG Phantom Sound Center wasn’t designed to be moved, users that have a single unit without an extra sub-woofer can transport the speaker anywhere that has a power outlet as the Phantom Sound Center has to remain connected for it to work.
Devialet spent to years designing the Phantom Sound Center; with 88 unique patents, there is no doubt that the company spared no expense with this new great Bluetooth speaker. There are two versions of the Phantom Sound Center, the white one priced at $1,990 with a 750 watt capacity and 99dB; and a Silver Phantom variant with a slightly higher price at $2,390 with a 3,000 watt capacity and 105dB. The Phantom Sound Center is designed to be easy to use, which for the company meant to remove any kind of manual equalizer controls, Devialet also mentioned that there are currently no plans to add them in the future. The Phantom Sound Center might be just a bit too simple for the hardcore audiophile, but it serves as a great addition for the general music lover.
