When it comes to Android TV, those more interested in the gaming side of things, need look no further than NVIDIA’s option, the NVIDIA SHIELD. When it comes to the SHIELD, the level of gaming on offer is significantly upgraded from the likes of the Nexus Player and other options available. Not to mention, NVIDIA seem to be making a good push in releasing more and more games that are compatible with the player and on a fairly routine basis. The latest installment of games came only last week when NVIDIA announced the launch of four games including Half-Life 2, Episode 2.
As part of that game launch, one of the other games which was due to be released was Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut. However, for whatever reason, it seems the game did not become publically available at the same time as the others. For those who had been waiting for the game though, it seems the time has come as Q:U:B:E. has today become available to download and can be picked up from the Play Store via the link below. The cost on this one is a nifty $9.99, so not the cheapest game around but one which will offer a unique game playing experience.
Q.U.B.E. is a puzzle based game and all takes place in the first-person. This is one of those games in which you have to adjust to your environment and provides a good depth of challenge as well as a decent level of repeatability play. Like the rest of the games that were launched last week, this one is designed to play perfectly with the SHIELD, thanks to the inclusion of the Tegra X1 processor and as such, will only run on Tegra-supported devices. Although, one downside of these types of games is that they are rather large in size and Q.U.B.E. is no exception, weighing in at just over 1GB. Of course, if you are sporting the Pro version of the NVIDIA SHIELD then this is unlikely to bother you too much. Those interested in giving Q.U.B.E a try can do so by hitting the link below.
