We have some bad news if you are a Sony fan and live in Canada – Sony Mobile Canada has confirmed that that neither the Xperia Z3+ smartphone nor Xperia Z4 tablet would be making its way to Canada. It has “no current plans” to bring either device into the region – however, Sony also confirmed that there are “great new products coming to Canada later this year.” Earlier today, Sony teased us with a new Xperia that may land as early as August 3. Sony Canada’s official statement reads, “Thank you for all of your inquiries regarding the Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 Tablet. We really appreciate your enthusiasm and we know that you are our most dedicated fans so we wanted to give you an update on these products. Sony Mobile devices are sold in partnership with Canadian carriers and retailers and there are no current plans to bring either of these devices to Canada. There are great new products coming to Canada later this year so keep an eye here for more information. Sorry and thanks for understanding.”

It has a 5.1MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chatting.
The Xperia Z4 Tablet IPS LCD display measures 10.1-inches with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, measures 254 x 167 x 6.1mm and weighs in at just 393 grams. It is also IP68 certified against water and dust. It also sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with expansion via a microSD card.
