It’s Sunday and that means we’ve got another homescreen design for those of you who love to customize. Whether you’re someone who is familiar with the customization process or someone who is completely new to the idea of customizing your homescreen with widget skins and live wallpaper themes, there’s nothing to worry about as we’ll go over what apps you need installed to get this design recreated as well as the basics of how to set everything up. This week’s design is called City, and was created by David Pitoko who has created tons of other themes. If you like what you see, be sure to show some appreciation for the hard work by hitting the “love” button over at mycolorscreen.
Now as for what you’ll need, make sure to have Nova launcher installed, and you’ll also need to make sure and download Kustom Live Wallpaper (KLWP) along with the actual design itself, which you can grab from the Play Store here. That’s it for everything you need to have installed, now for the steps to get things created. First and foremost, go into your Nova settings and make sure that homescreen grid is set to an 8 x 8 size. Once you’ve done this, hide the dock and set your wallpaper scrolling setting to “on.” From here make sure you have the correct number of pages set up for the design. In both Nova and the KLWP app make sure you set homescreen pages to 2. That’s about it for the setup basics, now just open up KLWP and apply the design and you’re done. As always, have a great rest of the weekend and happy theming!
