The device was announced back in January, and is currently one of the best entry-level handsets you can buy in various Asian countries and Brazil (it’s not available anywhere else, at least not officially). That being said, the device has been discounted in Singapore and now costs $149. The 2GB variant of this device has also been announced in that country, and is priced at $179.

Flipkart To Become An App-Only Service In September

Flipkart is the biggest retailer in India, and interestingly enough, this company intends to sell their products via an official app only. This announcement has been shared via the company’s CEO, Punit Soni, during the staff meeting. Why are they doing this? Well, it seems like Flipkart gets 75% of traffic via mobile apps, so switching to mobile only seems logical to the company. This is an interesting move by Flipkart, we’ll see if it will impact their sales.

Nest has announced Nest (security) Cam last month, and it was available only in US and Canada at first. Well, that’s not the case anymore, Nest Cam is now available in France, UK, Netherlands, Belgium and Ireland as well. This thing can record in 720p or 1080p, and it can capture 130-degree wide-angle shots. This is a security camera, and it can alert you if it detects motion at certain places and what not.
