iBall Slide O900-C Tablet Gets Announced In India
The Slide O900-C is iBall’s newest tablet offerings. This is a mid-range tablet which features a 7.85-inch 1024 x 768 display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card). The 5-megapixel camera is located on both its front and back side, and a 4,000mAh battery is also a part of the package. MediaTek’s MT6592 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.7GHz fuels this tablet, and Android 4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed here. The Slide O900-C is priced at Rs. 12,999 ($203) in India and will be available soon.
Google Play Store Is Now Available In Sudan As Well
Sudan is a country in the North Africa, and Google has announced that the Google Play Store is finally available over there as well. People of Sudan now have access to the free apps and games in the Google Play Store. Users in Sudan won’t be able to download paid apps though, at least not for the time being. Google Play Store is still not available in a number of countries, like Georgia, Syria, Congo, Afganistan, etc., but that might change in the near future as well.
Xiaomi Mi Note Unveiled In Malaysia, Available July 28th
Xiaomi has announced that their Mi Note phablet will be available in Malaysia soon, The device will go on sale on July 28th, and is priced at RM 1,549 ($409). The Mi Note sports a 5.7-inch 1080p display along with 3GB of RAM, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor. The 13-megapixel OIS camera is located on the back of this device, and a 4-megapixel UltraPixel shooter can be found up front. This is a dual-SIM device which ships with a 3,000mAh battery on the inside.
Shell And PayPal Partner Up, Unveil Fill Up & Go System In The UK
Shell and PayPal have announced a partnership between the companies. Shell has enabled a new payment system in the UK, the Fill Up & Go system which lets you use PayPal in order to pay for gas via your smartphone. Shell believes that this will speed up the process of refuelling, and make it more convenient for people to pay for gas in general. The system couldn’t be simpler, you have to open the applications, select the Fill Up & Go option and follow the instructions. Keep in mind that the service is available in the UK only ATM.
Google Play Store Carrier Billing Added In More Countries
Google has announced that the carrier billing has been added in Denmark (3 carriers), Philippines (Sun), Saudi Arabia (Mobily), Turkey (Avea) and UAE (du). Users in those countries who are using the services of the listed carriers can now pay for content via carrier billing. How does this work? Well, quite simple actually, when you purchase something from the Play Store, you get charged via your carrier’s monthly bill. You don’t have to add credit cards to your Google Play account or anything of the sort.
