Blackview is a Chinese manufacturer that was founded a couple of years ago, focusing on making quality devices providing a good overall experience. Now, the company is planning to offer a rugged option known as BV5000. It’s designed to hold up against most situations and it has some neat features like 4G LTE connectivity and still, the company managed to make it affordable. Although specifications are scarce at this time, the phone is built on resistant rubber that makes it waterproof, dustproof and it’s supposed to resist fall damage. It includes a high capacity battery of 4,700 mAh, which combined with the energy-efficient quad-core processor should provide fairly good battery life.
There are not that many details about the display, as its measurements are still unknown as is the technology used on it, but it is said to sport HD resolution. There’s support for USB OTG, so some peripherals can be used with this phone. The cameras included are an 8-megapixel one on the back with LED flash and a 2-megapixel one on the front. The specs are nothing out of the ordinary, suggesting that the phone will be competing with some affordable options, but it will be distinguished by its durable hardware.
