Doogee has been teasing quite a few devices recently. This China-based company has released a number of smartphones in the last couple of months, and they intend to release yet another interesting handset before the end of this month. The Doogee F5, which was previously called the Doogee F2015, will be a very solid smartphone which will be made out of liquid metal according to the company. The Doogee F5 will be a very well-equipped smartphone in terms of specs as well, let’s see what we know thus far.
Thanks to our sources at the company, we basically know the full specs of the device at this point, and we also have some additional images to share with you, but let’s check out this phone’s specs first. The Doogee F5 will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) IPS LCD display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. The device is powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz along with a Mali-T720 GPU. The device sports 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, while a 3,000mAh battery will also be a part of this package. The 13-megapixel shooter will be available on the back of this phone (Samsung’s sensor), and a 5-megapixel snapper will be available up front. This phone will also offer 4G LTE connectivity, and will sport a fingerprint scanner on its back (touch to activate).
If you take a look at the images down below, you’ll get to see the device in the flesh. As you can see, the phone is made out of (liquid) metal, and it sports speakers at the bottom. Both the power / lock and volume rocker buttons are located on the right, and you also get to see the rear side of this smartphone as well. The SIM tray slot is visible on the right as well, and there’re no buttons or slots available on the left-hand side of this smartphone. The three capacitive buttons are also quite visible below the display of Doogee F5. This smartphone will launch soon (mid-August), and will cost $149.99, which seems to be more than a decent price point. Either way, we’ll keep you posted.
