Why The Galaxy Note 5 Should Appeal To Business Users

The Samsung Galaxy Note series was destined for business use from the first day the Galaxy Note was introduced in 2011.  It was a little primitive when compared to the later renditions, but each one has matured into a very capable device with terrific note taking abilities as well as drawings, photo manipulation, and much more.  It is the new PDA (Personal Data Assistant) with advanced calendars, multi-window and multi-tasking capabilities – exactly what you need in a boardroom meeting.  The 5.7-inch display allows you to see more and operate two apps at the same time and still being able to see them.  With vast improvements over the past two years in the S-Pen design, functionality and sensitivity, it has become an integral part of the device…making writing with the S-Pen as natural as a pencil.

Let’s look at some of the ways the Galaxy Note 5 is the ideal business smartphone and companion to its user.  Just to be able to use it as a replacement for Post-its and Memo Pads makes a huge difference.  Oh, you still will need the old traditional paper and pencil once in a while, but the new Galaxy Note 5 makes it quicker and easier than ever to take notes.  As soon as you pull the S-Pen out of the device, a black screen appears and you can immediately begin writing down notes.  No longer do you have to activate the software or tap on anything – pull it out and start writing, as natural as a motion can be.

Who wants to carry around two devices – one for work and another one for personal use?  With Samsung’s KNOX there is no reason to lug around two devices…you can now use that big, beautiful Super AMOLED display all day long.  Besides KNOX, you have Android for Work security features built into the Galaxy Note 5.  IT administrators can have access to your work related content only, leaving your personal data, just that – personal.  Should you ever lose your device, your business can wipe your device remotely to safeguard any sensitive business files.

Let’s talk about business trips for a while – the new 3000 mAh battery in the Galaxy Note 5 may sound small for this powerhouse, but Samsung designed the Note 5 to use less power.  If you find yourself power-using your Note 5 on your trip, you have two options for quick charging that battery.  You can use the regular Quick Charger or the new Quick Wireless Charger.  Each time you set your Note 5 down, place it on the optional wireless charger and it will keep charging in between uses – no longer will it take hours to charge your device whether plugged-in or charging wirelessly.

While you are on that business trip or just running around town, Samsung Pay will really come in handy.  Leave your credit or debit cards safely at home or in your motel room and use your Note 5 as your means of payment – with its MST feature, any retailer that can swipe a credit card can receive a payment from your Note 5.  Just swipe up to activate Samsung Pay, press your finger on the fingerprint sensor and touch the Note 5 to the terminal.  Using tokenization your card number is never transmitted and using fingerprint authentication, you can be sure that your transaction is secure.

Another nice business feature is the ability to add you signature to an e-document or even make necessary changes – the S-Pen certainly is better and more accurate than using your blunt finger. The S-Pen makes working with documents a breeze. So next time you go to work, pickup that Galaxy Note 5 and it will definitely make your life simpler.
