We’ve seen a ton of leaks when it comes to Google’s upcoming Nexus devices. Both Huawei and LG have been rumored to be working on new Nexus devices, and leaks just keep on coming. LG is reportedly working on a 5.2-inch model, while Huawei is allegedly going to manufacture the 5.7-inch Nexus phablet. The alleged Huawei Nexus was shown off in a leaked video not long ago, and its specs have leaked recently as well. That being said, a new leak has just surfaced, courtesy of @OnLeaks. Let’s see what’s new, shall we.
@OnLeaks has tweeted out Huawei Nexus’ partial specifications. Before we begin, keep in mind that this is just a leak, and we can’t confirm any of this, so take the following info with a grain of salt. According to the source, the Huawei Nexus will sport a 5.7-inch display and front-facing speakers. The fingerprint scanner will be located on its back, and you can also expect the Type-C USB 3.0 port to be included in the package. The phone will roughly measure 159.4 x 78.3 x 6.6 / 8.5mm.
In addition to what the source leaked out, we can add the specs that leaked about a week ago. According to that info, the aforementioned 5.7-inch display will feature a QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, and you can also expect this thing to be made out of metal. The 21-megapixel camera is said to be located on the back of the Huawei Nexus (Sony’s IMX230), and you can also expect wireless charging to be a part of the package. The Huawei Nexus is said to be the higher-end of the two, but it seems like both LG’s and Huawei’s Nexus device will be a high-end offering.
Considering the amount of rumors and leaks we’ve seen when it comes to both of these phones, it’s highly likely Google will release two Nexus smartphones for the first time. These two devices will succeed the company’s current Nexus device, the huge Nexus 6 phablet. Stay tuned for more info, we’ll report back as soon as something new pops up, and judging by the leaks thus far, another piece of info is just around the corner.
