OnePlus 2 is the company’s new flagship handset, and a direct successor to the OnePlus One which launched last year. OnePlus One was one of the best smartphone of 2014, and the expectations for the OnePlus 2 were quite high. The company has managed to seriously upgrade this device’s specs, and keep its price quite low. The OnePlus 2 is, on paper, quite a more powerful device than the OnePlus One, especially the 4GB model, though it has its drawbacks. That being said, we have tons of coverage when it comes to the OnePlus 2, and today we’ll add a bit more content to it.

Anyhwo, iFixit gave OnePlus’ newest handset 7 out of 10 repairability score (10 is easiest to repair), while mentioning that the biggest obstacle in the whole procedure were the LCD and digitizer glass. The two are fused together, and must be replaced as a single part. iFixit had to apply some heat in order to remove it from the midframe. The OnePlus 2 sports a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) LTPS display, 3 or 4GB of RAM and 16 or 64GB of internal storage. The 3GB model of this phone ships with 16GB of in-built storage, while the 4GB of RAM variant comes with 64GB of internal storage. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor along with an Adreno 430 GPU. The 13-megapixel OIS shooter is available on the back of this device, and a 5-megapixel snapper can be found up front. The 3,300mAh battery is integrated on the inside, and Android 5.1 Lollipop comes out of the box with OnePlus’ Oxygen OS installed on top of it. The OnePlus 2 measures 151.8 x 74.9 x 9.9mm, and weighs 175 grams. It is also worth mentioning that the 16GB model of the device costs $329, and the 64GB variant comes in at $389. Only the 64GB (4GB of RAM) model is available at the moment, and you’ll need an invite in order to purchase it.
