Is Lenovo Launching a Yoga Tablet 3 Soon?

When it comes to Android tablets, things are pretty similar across the board, with little innovation going on no matter where you look. The likes of Samsung have added their Super AMOLED technology to the Galaxy Tab S2 pair of devices, but other than that there’s no much innovation going on in the tablet world. That is, unless you look to Lenovo. With their Yoga line of Android tablets, Lenovo have put together a set of tablets that offer up more than your average giant touchscreen. Not only are they designed to be more affordable, but they have a unique stand design that offers users flexibility when it comes to how they want to use their fancy tablet.

With the Yoga 2 tablets, Lenovo introduced a hook to the included stand, allowing users to hang the tablet from wherever they liked to further the versatility of the tablet. Now, a leaked image has appeared online which may be of the unannounced Yoga 3 Tablet. At least one of the sizes anyway. With a more black colored design, the tablet looks a little different, and the leaked photo is far from the best way to get a look at something, but it does appear as though there’s a new feature here. The leaker also mentioned that there will be a rotating camera on this version, which is what that piece on the end of the stand could be. Using a rotating camera would make this a perfect device for video calls, as Lenovo can ship it with one quality camera sensor for everything. Specs wise, it looks like this will be powered by a Snapdragon 210, or at least according to the leaker. We’d expect something more like a Snapdragon 410 or 615 for the higher-end models.

With IFA 2015 coming up next month, it wouldn’t surprise us if Lenovo were planning a device launch of some sort during the event. Tablets and smartphones have become big sellers for Lenovo, and now that they have Motorola under their wing, it looks like Lenovo is to become a big player in the mobile space for years to come.
