New Peterpalooza Event Hits Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff

Gamers can return to the city of Quahog for a brand new event. Family Guy fans were introduced to a brand new Family Guy based video game back on April 10, 2014. The game is called Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff and plays out as a city-building simulator following the events after a battle between Peter Griffin and Ernie the Giant Chicken. Once the brawl ends and the dust clears, it’s revealed that the city of Quahog has been destroyed leaving the player to rebuild the city and reunite Peter Griffin with his friends and family. A brand new free event brings out the story of Peterpalooza, a music themed festival event which will last all the way through September 17, 2015.

With the new event, Peter Griffin decides that he would like to open up and run his own music festival called Peterpalooza. While Peter is hard at work trying to go through the fine details of the event, someone seems to be tampering with the process of getting festival up and running. Players must track down who exactly is tampering with the production of Peterpalooza and stop them before the event is cancelled. However, what’s a music festival without the inclusion of popular musicians and artists?

Peter Griffin has taken careful consideration of who would be showing up for his music festival in Quahog. Attached to the Peterpalooza festival includes Snoop Dogg, Weird Al Yankovic, Deadmau5, Avril Lavigne, Rick Astley, and Alice Cooper. Furthermore, these artists have even voiced their in-game characters for this limited time event.

This won’t be the first time Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff has provided in-game events and content since it was first released for mobile devices. In the past, developer TinyCo and publisher Fox Digital Entertainment have brought in a plethora of in-game character and events. We’ve seen updates brought out all because of Comic Con, different holidays, films, along with special in-game celebrity appearances like Stan Lee, Bryan Cranston, and Felicia Day. For now the event is running for gamers to jump on and start playing away completely for free until the event ends this September.
