There has been a number of smartphones that have been doing the rumor rounds of late. While most of them are the big name titles from the bigger named manufacturers, there are also a few of the other more low-key devices which are expected to land. In Lenovo’s case, although most of their headlines revolve around Motorola smartphones and yet, Lenovo does continue to manufacture its own devices and one of them in particular has taken its time in arriving, the Lenovo Vibe P1. The Vibe P1 (as well a number of other Vibe devices) have been a long time coming. In fact, their specs and images leaked even before MWC back in March. Now with IFA fast approaching, it does seem to be the case that they are about to arrive.
Well, in preparation for that IFA arrival, it seems one retailer has already begun listing the Vibe P1. While most of the specs of the P1 were already known, towards the end of July, an interesting rumor starting emerging that the Vibe P1 was going to come sporting a massive 5,000 mAh battery. On that particular point, if the latest retailer listing is correct, that does indeed seem to be the case and the Vibe P1 will come with a 5,000 mAh battery. Not to mention, the listing is also stating the price to be $309.99. Of course, that will likely change, but does provide an indication of the price range to expect.
In terms of the other specs, the Vibe P1 will come sporting a 5.5-inch display, which makes use of a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Inside, the Vibe P1 comes loaded with 3GB RAM and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor (clocking at 1.5 GHz), along with an Adreno 405 GPU processing the graphics. In terms of storage, the Vibe P1 comes as standard with 16GB internally, as well as the option to expand thanks to the inclusion of a microSD card slot. While on the camera side of things, the Vibe P1 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera, which is coupled with a 5-megapixel front facing option. Other features include 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM, the 5000 mAh battery and the P1 comes running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop).
