Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Specifications

Samsung’s Galaxy Note line of devices is definitely one of the most powerful brands in the mobile tech world. The first Galaxy Note phablet was launched back in 2011 and has almost immediately gained huge popularity, despite the fact it was considered quite big at the time. Many people have been waiting for Samsung to announce the 5th-gen Galaxy Note device, and after months and months of rumors, this Korea-based tech giant has finally done it today. We’ve already covered the initial announcement of the Galaxy Note 5, and are here to take a closer look at its specifications.

The Galaxy Note 5 features a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440, 518ppi) Super AMOLED display along with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32 or 64GB of UFS 2.0 internal storage (depending on the variant you choose to purchase). Samsung’s newest phablet is powered by the company’s Exynos 7420 64-bit 14nm octa-core SoC (4 x 2.1GHz + 4 x 1.5GHz), and a 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package. The 16-megapixel OIS camera (f/1.9 aperture) is available on the back of this device, and a 5-megapixel shooter (f/1.9 aperture) can be found up front. The device measures 153.2

The Galaxy Note 5 comes equipped with NFC and MST payment standards, and Fast Charging comes included as well. The Fast Wireless Charging is also available on the Note 5, but you’ll need to purchase the wireless charging pad which is not included in the package. As far as sensors go, the Note 5 comes equipped with Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, RGB Light, Geo-magnetic sensor, Gyro, Fingerprint Scanner, Barometer, Hall and HRM. Wi-Fi 801.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5GHz) is also available here, and you also get Bluetooth 4.2 LE, and 4G LTE (Cat.9) connectivity support, of course. Samsung’s S Pen stylus is once again included here, of course, and it is located in the bottom lower portion of the device.

Android 5.1.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this phablet, and Samsung’s TouchWiz UI is, of course, installed on top of Google’s operating system. The Galaxy Note 5 comes with serious KNOX security enhancements, and Ultra High Quality Audio (UHQA) for richer, high-quality sound is also included. The Galaxy Note 5 will be available in Black Sapphire and White Pearl color options. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be available soon, but we still don’t have full details regarding its availability at the moment.
