Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Is Used To Cook Squid In Video

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5 was one of the most expected devices and now that the phablet is officially announced it’s getting all the attention. It’s certainly a controversial device because its design looks great, it was inspired by the Galaxy S6 lineup build with a metallic frame and Gorilla Glass on front and back and the result is definitely compelling. But, with the new design, the company had to make sacrifices, they left out for the first time the Micro SD card slot to expand its internal storage and the battery is no longer removable. The S-Pen brings more functionality than ever, even being able to take notes with the screen off, but as it can be inserted backwards (not that anyone would want to do that), it might end up severely damaging the device.

Still, it is one of the most powerful devices available, it has 4 GB of RAM and Samsung’s Exynos 7420 processor has proven to be among the best ones. The Super AMOLED display with QHD resolution provides very sharp pictures with vibrant colors and excellent contrast levels. The cameras are considered some of the best in a mobile device and the overall performance is solid. We could expect almost every torture video for this device, and they typically consist in dropping the device, trying to scratch its surfaces, soaking it in all sorts of liquids or even blending it. But today, a Vietnamese user made one of the weirdest ones yet.

As for the setup, it’s on a glass table with two bottles of alcohol, three cans and sauce. First, the user makes sure the phone works perfectly, he goes through the Settings menu, tries some apps and even tests the S-Pen software. Then, he puts it into a bowl, not getting into the bottom due to the large size of the phone. He then pours in some alcohol, not quite soaking the device as it is not waterproof, and then, he throws in a lit match. He then uses those flames to finish cooking his squid. The screen starts to look burned so he turns the device around, when the back starts to change the way it looks it is time to take out the device, let it cool out and show the result while eating squid. The verdict, the Galaxy Note 5 can’t hold up against fire, the back ended up looking more colorful and with all sorts of textures, almost like one of those pictures from Earth View.
